Work life balance won't save you
I used to think I needed work-life balance.
So I set firmer boundaries.
Took vacations.
Blocked time for “rest.”
It worked.
For about a week.
Then I was right back at my desk.
Working late.

Avoiding stillness.

Not because I loved it.
But because it was the only place I felt alive.
